Print Binding Options Available
Perfect Binding
A popular method of binding. Perfect binding is similar to case-bound books. Pages are glued to the cover or spine. It is popular for paperback books, magazines, and many other softcover books.
Spiral Binding
A single plastic piece of a coil that is a full circle through the punch-holes on the edge of the pages. These coils do not bend or lose their shape and are available in a number of colors. This coil spiral binding method is great for small and large page count books and works with almost all paper types.
Lay-Flat Binding
Exactly as it sounds. The book will lie flat on a table when opened. Lay-flat binding is perfect for cookbooks and manuals. The lay-flat binding takes more time for the glue to cure and the costs are higher than some of the other methods.
Saddle Stitching Binding
These pages are folded together on one side and then stapled at the fold line on the other side. Books with 60 pages or less typically work best for saddle stitching binding.
