Specialty dry inks that are placed in the underlay station provide a base that enhances CMYK tints and imagery. Metallic ink printing underlays can create a rainbow of iridescent effects while white underlays expand the available applications to include films, colored, and other specialty media choices. Metallic, white or clear overlays are able to create spot embellishment effects for graphics including logos and patterns.
